Mushroom and Walnut Mock Chopped Liver

Mushroom and Walnut Chopped Liver
Serves: 4

3 tbsp. oil
1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 tsp. water

Sauté mushrooms and onion in oil for 8 minutes.

Pour into a blender or food processor adding walnuts, seasonings and water. Blend until smooth.

Serve as a spread. Makes 1 cup.
