chai tea recipe

Blood Orange Chai by Elchanan Ben Avraham

December 29, 2010 by Patrick Beaulier

PunkTorah blogger Elchanan Ben Avraham is known for his homemade chai teas and experiments in Indian cuisine. When we approached Elchanan about his infamous blood orange chai, he replied:

The Chai turned out pretty darn good.  And since I made that, I’ve been going to the local Indian grocer and buying my own spices and making my own chais.  It’s all so good!  I’ve become a tea aficionado!  And what’s great, Rishi, my favorite brand, is a Milwaukee company so they’re available everywhere around here.

Here’s a video of Elchanan in action!
