Patrick Aleph is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of PunkTorah, which he co-founded in 2009.

PunkTorah is leading a revolution in grassroots, user-driven Jewish spirituality with its family of online, multimedia, community-lead projects, starting with the faith and pop culture blog, PunkTorah.org as well as its incredibly popular social media networks such as the PunkTorah YouTube Channel and Facebook. Recently, PunkTorah remixed the concept of independent minyanim with the launch of OneShul.org, the world’s first completely virtual, independent minyan and Jewish community as well as publishing two independent siddurim in the past six months.

Patrick started his professional life in sales and marketing, striving to find new and creative ways for people to relate to products and services through increased customer service and empathy for the needs of others. This passion for excellence has led Patrick to many industries including food and beverage, the entertainment industry and retail/wholesale design and management.

As Executive Director of PunkTorah, Patrick has been featured on CNN.com, JTA, the Jewish Daily Forward, My Jewish Learning and more. He has given his creative talents as a writer, story teller and musician to Jewish multimedia organizations G-dcast and JDub Records (Balkan Beat Box, DeLeon, Soulico, Golem). Frequently invited to participate in Jewish events as a speaker and community organizer, Patrick has given presentations at the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America (with Chief Creative Officer Michael Sabani), Limmud Atlanta + Southeast, Jewlicious and a variety of synagogue and community events across the country.

Patrick lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.
